Saint-Menton, a small french village is shaken up after the death of the mayor's son, victim of a hunting accident. A few days later, the hunter's lifeless body was found. Olive Chapelle, a police inspector, is forced to question the town's mayor, an old friend. But everyone's emotions will make the interrogation difficult. Especially since the police has no valid evidence in court, nothing but coincidences. How to make someone confess a murder when we have no proof? If she wants to arrest him, Olive must get a confession, otherwise the mayor will be free. But is she really ready to go through such an ordeal?
